Seeing her name drawn up next to Cole's, Eliza smiles at him and says "Ready for a rematch?"

She glances around the other ten participants, she recognized the wild haired girl from before, and a much taller man from the boat ride over. She wonders if these students would all be in her Pokemon Battling major, or even if they were all her same student level. Eliza had first thought badly of the uniforms, but was looking forward to keeping an eye on everyone's ranks.

She pulled Seel's pokeball from her pocket and gave it a quick kiss for luck, the steel was ice cold against her lips.

And with that Charlotte is declared the winner. People cheer and throw her into the air. Scully lights up the sky with her telekinetic abilities. The people gather around and the man who called the shots hands you a wad of money.

"The odds were against the small nerd girl with glasses. Good to see ya coming up, take the money and I look forward to see what you do next."

"You did great Pepper," Eliza smiles down at the Seel cradled in her arms. He lets out a sadden arff and Eliza rubs her nose against his.

Seeing the wild hair hair from before, she shifts Pepper in her arms to offer her a firm handshake. That was incredible!" Eliza responds about the battle. "Your little ...doll? was super powerful!"

Rex noticed a few familiar faces but none of which he knew by name. His previous battle, the warm-up, hadn’t gone as expected and Shipwreck was bitterly allowing himself to be held in Rex’s arms, the black strip around his head flowing gently in the breeze. Rex tucked his chin and smirked at the tiny pokemon, “We’ll do better next time. I know you’ll do great.”

The sharp way Shipwreck’s eyes narrowed to the other contestants made Rex worry if he should have a talk with Shipwreck about good sportsmanship. He knew they wouldn’t win every battle they came across, especially if they had little to no experience prior to this. He chuckled low in his chest, “Hey, don’t worry. How about we go and introduce ourselves to some other people. Make some new friends since you aren’t exactly fond of the one we have now?” Taking a look around he spotted two girls, the ones he had intended on sitting with back at orientation. “They look friendly, right? Let’s go say hi.”

The little blubbery white ball was horribly cute, although he wasn’t sure what to make of the blinking robotic one, he never came across a pokemon that looked like that before. He made a quick check with his pokedex before approaching and put on his best smile, hoping to break the ice. Glancing back and forth between the two, he stated: “Your seel is adorable and your little guy looks tough, saw the way you two fought and wanted to come by and say hello.”

"Hey, we were just going for some food, you should come," Charlotte invites the hulking man on a whim, already turning towards the little bistro she saw on the way down. It looks quaint, definitely giving off a small town feeling with big glass windows and a nice patio for seats. She wonders how the weather is on the island before dismissing the thought. She kind of hopes that it's a four-season kind of place and not a wet season and a wetter season.

In her arms Scully watches the crowd go by with quiet patience. She's pretty calm for a pokemon who just got out of a battle, Charlotte had expected some adrenaline. Then again, maybe it doesn't work that way with Elgyem.

When they get to the cafe Charlotte asks for a table for three.
